Two key members of the Northpoint Commercial Finance team have recently been recognized in the marine industry.
VP Gary W. Childress was appointed to a two-year term on the Sea Tow Foundation’s National Boating Safety Advisory Council, a group of top leaders from different segments of the recreational boating industry who collectively promote and support national boating safety initiatives. In this capacity, Childress will contribute to key council projects including the National Boating Industry Safety Awards and will consult on a variety of ongoing boating safety initiatives. 
Director of Marketing Jill Howell was recognized as a 2024 “Women Making Waves” honoree by the editors of Boating Industry Magazine. Howell is one of 30+ women to be selected for induction this year into the prestigious Women Making Waves annual awards recognition. Now in its seventh year, the awards competition honors women from throughout the marine industry who are making a dynamic impact on their companies and/or the marine industry overall.
