
Northpoint Continues to Grow Canadian Trailer Segment;
Key Appointment Also Announced

The trailer segment in Canada remains a critical core business component for Northpoint (NCF) and is well positioned and poised for continual growth. Featuring a healthy mix of large and small dealers and a key middle market, our NCF trailer customers on both the dealer and OEM fronts represent a strong and robust portfolio profile which is highly valued.
Due in part to our strong base and presence in the industry and most recent economic impacts, we are benefiting from increased trends in the Canadian Trailer market community to partner up with NCF Canadian OEMs. Today, Northpoint Commercial Finance Canada serves nearly 40 active trailer-based OEMs, which represent about 16% of the combined North American market. In addition, we are proud to partner with 125 active Canadian trailer dealers who are producing steady sales activity.
Whether on the OEM or dealer side, Northpoint continues to support and further develop this important market with flexible solutions delivered by our experienced inventory financing team. Our strong bilingual and dedicated sales representatives and account managers are focused on ensuring top personalized service to meet customer needs and demand. In keeping with our growth, we recently announced the appointment of Christina Bentley to Director of Business Development for Canada’s East Coast.
Christina brings 20+ years of experience to this key role encompassing sales, operational management and special assets within floor plan financing through her previous work supporting core industries including the trailer market throughout North America. Her past positions at leading financial institutions include Scotiabank Commercial, Wells Fargo CDF, GE Capital CDF and Transamerica Commercial Finance. She brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in client relationship management, risk assessment and effective problem-solving, consistently delivering strategic solutions and driving value for her clients.
