As General Counsel and Senior Vice President, David McMichael oversees all legal functions of Northpoint Commercial Finance. David has served as Northpoint’s General Counsel since its inception – first as external counsel and then moving in-house in 2014. David brings over 21 years of experience in distribution finance, asset based lending, and equipment finance.
Before Northpoint, David served as Division Attorney for Textron Financial Corporation overseeing a $1 billion distribution finance portfolio and a $1 billion asset based lending portfolio. Prior to that, David worked for CIT Equipment Finance.
David holds a B.A. with honors and a J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the State Bar of Texas.
